Today I made waffles to take with us on our Spring Break trip. These waffles are light and airy and I made them with my favorite gluten free flour, Manini’s. I also used Manini’s gluten free flour with the pancakes I made last week (get recipe here). Waffle makers can be purchased at most brick and mortar stores, but I purchased my waffle maker at Amazon (similar here). My waffle maker has seen better days, but it’s still holding up and serving it’s purpose.
Here’s my dilemma… I have a love/hate relationship with waffles. I love them because they are one of the best foods to eat for breakfast on the go. You can top them with butter and syrup, raw honey, peanut butter/sunbutter and jelly, ham and eggs, eat them plain, the list goes on. I hate them, because they are addicting and I can’t get enough of them! They have added inches to my waist line 🙁 I’m kidding!
My favorite way to eat waffles is with chicken. When I see waffles, I see chicken. They are a perfect match. See:
If you don’t believe me, try the waffles for yourself and tell me how addicted you become.
As always, these waffles are free of gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, tree nuts, and peanuts.
